2ND ANNUAL WINTER SOCIAL - POSTED 11/24/2011
February 4, 2011: Cost is $17 per attendee.... Who is invited? Any TVAA member in good standing can attend and bring as many guests ~ member or not ~ for an additional $17.00 each.
Check-in & Crackerbarrel begins at 6:30 PM - Dinner served at 7:30 PM
***New TVAA Polo to be unveiled, to benefit the TVAA Operating Fund***
There will be a guest speaker as well as displays of old Treasure Valley memorabilia (bring your own to display, if you like). TVAA store will be open, offering caps, t-shirts, patches and pins! A silent auction will be held as part of the evening’s program. Come and enjoy the friendship and fellowship of other Scouters and Scouts past and present! SUMMER 2011 HIGHLIGHTS - POSTED 8/23/2011
TVAA’s first structure - the Snake River Road Info Kiosk - has been completed at the Valley. Located on
Snake River Road, the open-faced, heritage inspired kiosk provides shelter and information for campers and visitors alike. Inside, a custom built display case protects trail maps and other Alumni Association information, including membership applications.
Our 3rd Annual Reunion and Business Meeting was held on Sunday, July 24th, with food and fun for all. With strong attendance, the highlight was definitely the dedication of the newly completed kiosk, attended by Father Mezzoni and blessed at the ceremony.

2011 MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS - POSTED 1/03/2011
The TVAA has released the official 2011 Membership Application. Remember, we offer various options and levels of membership. Youth are encouraged to join, and if you know of any who might be interested, why not consider giving a gift membership to that person? 2009 and 2010 saw great membership growth, so let's keep the trend headed in a positive direction for this new year!

WINTER SOCIAL GATHERING - POSTED 12/29/2010
With the winter months upon us, TVSR might seem like a distant place...Because of this we are happy to announce our first Winter Social, a gathering that will instill some scouting cheer and spirit into the cold of winter. On Saturday, February 12, at 7PM, we will gather at the Leicester Knights of Columbus for an evening of fellowship, conversation, and excitement. Cost is $16 per person, and TVAA Members in good standing are encouraged to bring guests (there's no limit to how many guests you can bring!). Check-in and cracker-barrel starts at 7:00PM, and dinner will be served at 8:00PM.
Highlights of the evening will include the unveiling of the TVAA Collector's Patch, presentation of the Kiosk Project with updates, a guest speaker, and a video tribute to remember scouter Bill Cox, who passed away earlier this year. We will also have Association merchandise on sale.
This event will be a great opportunity to enjoy the company of your fellow members, meet with the E-Board, and enjoy a hearty meal. Registration forms can be found by clicking here. We hope you'll join us!

PATCH CONTEST UPDATE - POSTED 12/29/2010
The TVAA Fundraiser Patch design has been chosen:
Member-At-Large Brad Estabrook's entry will be featured on the new patch due out in early 2011. The contest saw no entries, so Mr. Estabrook, who was running the competition, submitted a number of excellent designs. The artwork is currently being processed by our patch supplier, and will be unveiled at the Winter Social in February. Pricing information has yet to be determined.

SNAKE RIVER ROAD KIOSK PROJECT (UPDATE) - POSTED 12/29/2010
The TVAA E-Board is pleased to announce we are ready to move forward with the Kiosk Project on Snake River Road at Treasure Valley Scout Reservation!
The next phase is the biggest challenge - one that we hope our members can step up to the plate to help with - that of acquiring the necessary materials. With funds being restricted we are undertaking this endeavor by seeking either donations of material resources and/or monetary resources from our membership. Please contact John Atlas by phone or email if you can be of assistance, and for the most up-to-date list of materials still needed.
Keep in mind, the donation of "time" is also welcome. The E-Board has currently scheduled construction to begin (and be completed) in March 2011. Because the concrete pad on which the Kiosk will be built already exists, necessary site work will be minimal. Nonetheless, members are encouraged to help with construction, and an announcement will be made in regard to specifics as we draw closer to the early spring.

FALL 2010 PATCH CONTEST ANNOUNCED - POSTED 10/15/2010
The TVAA is conducting a patch design contest for a new fundraiser patch. Any and all current members – adults and youth – may submit designs to:

COUNCIL SCOUT SHOW - POSTED 7/01/2010
The Treasure Valley Alumni Association recently participated in the Mohegan Council’s Scout Show, celebrating 100 years of scouting in America. As part of this event, held at The DCU Center in Worcester, MA, the TVAA sponsored an informational booth promoting the rich history of Treasure Valley Scout Reservation. A successful membership drive rounded out the TVAA’s first year in operation; Charter Lifetime memberships were a popular choice during the recent months, and at the event.
